The companies of Cork Distillery, John Jameson and Sons, and John Power and Sons merged in 1966 to form the Irish Distillers Group. They concentrated on building the best Irish whiskey distillery on one site beside the old Midleton Distillery site, home of Jameson Whiskey

Jameson Distillery on Distillery Walk, Middleton, Co Cork is just off the main N25Cork to Waterford road, about 20 minutes east of Cork city. There is a train service to Midleton from Cork city which arrives on the other side of Midleton town from the Distillery. A Greenway from Midleton to Youghal is presently being built and is due to open in 2023.
Park in Midleton town or one of its car parks as the Distillery has renovations underway as they get ready to celebrate 200 years in 2025.
All guests who taste whiskey must be over 18 years of age.
With Covid Guidelines in place please inform staff if you have any symptoms and you may be asked to wear a face mask.
Depending on the tour chosen – allow 1-2.5 hours.
We Provide
Fully Guided Tour of old Midelton Distillery with option for tasting, depending on tour choice. Shop on site and cafe open 10am to 4.30pm
Please Bring
Bring a Designated Driver if talking one of the tasting tours. People under 18 years of age can accompany adult family members but not drink.
