Cycling or Walking Waterford Greenway.

The Greenway is 46km long from Dungarvan to Waterford, taking approximately 5 hours (leisurely cycle), and built on an old railway line. The route is off-road,  suited to all the family, and one of the best greenways in Ireland. 

Bike hire is for a day rate, with drop-off agreed at the time of booking. The distance from Waterford to Kilmacthomas is 23 km, and it’s the same distance to Dungarvan, all off-road.  The Kilmacthomas base is our recommendation as it has plenty of parking, and a cafe and allows you to take a loop cycle along this most scenic part of the Waterford Greenway. Cycle off-road through the Ballyvolye tunnel and Viaduct as well as the Durrus viaduct, along the coast to Clonea beach. Bring the togs and towels and have a swim at Clonea, have lunch at a cafe, or bring a picnic for a round trip of about 3 hours of gentle cycling. 

 All bikes are Giant bikes, with an option to pre-book buggies, tag-a-long child seats, and even the small family dog can accompany you.
