A Chocolate Making workshop for a group of 6-12 near Glengarriff, West Cork is suited to adults or adults and children. Workshops take place in the afternoon only.

Have fun making chocolate sweets with expert chocolatiers during a 1.5-hour workshop in the afternoon Learn the history of chocolate, discover the journey from bean to bar, dip, mound make and eat chocolate.  Great fun for adults and children with a minimum of 6 people per booking.

Option to have a private workshop for a small group. Option for 1 or 2 days courses that are very serious about Chocolate Making on specific dates each month.

We Provide

Chocolate!  The instructor who will show how to make chocolate, tasting and take home or eating a piece of chocolate you made.

Good To Know

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult and if booking a group party please advise how many adults and children. 
  • Wear old clothes in case get chocolate on clothing, despite being given aprons and hats!
  • Plenty of parking at the centre with workshops lasting 1.5 to 2hours with master chocolatiers. 
  • Not suited to children under 10 years of age ( benches too high). Fitness Level 2 for this tour due to some steps in a small premises, please advise if one of your group is in a wheelchair.

  • Cancellation Policy – This tour can be booked and refunded up to 5 days before the tour starts. Money will be refunded to the paying card, apart from a €5 booking deposit per person booked.

  • It is your responsibility to bring adequate clothing, footwear, and equipment where specified. Please note that the guide may refuse participation in the activity if you fail to do so and your activity fee will not be refunded.

  • Please note that we and our guides reserve the right to refuse participation in the activity if you are intoxicated, if refuse to comply with the instructions of the guide, if there is a risk to your safety or the safety of others for any reason, or are deemed unfit or unable to participate (in the reasonable opinion of Activity Days or the Guide). In this event, your fee will not be refunded.
