Kinsale Old Head Coastal Tour Guided 1/2 Day
Meet at the stunning Old Head of Kinsale where your guide will provide a mountain bike and safety equipment. Then follow the coast in a loop cycle.
Fitness level 2 as it is on the level for most part. Takes place Fri, Sat, Sun or Mon. Price €50 pp.
Bikes for hire on the street are available in Cork city and Clonakilty. This is a great way to see Cork city and in Clonakilty take a bike from a hotel to the town centre or beach.Hire a bike for a day in Cork or Kerry
At the start of the Wild Atlantic Way in Kinsale take a 2 hour walk with an artist to learn to draw what you see as you go along the way. Enjoy the views of this stunning town with stops to draw what you see.The idea is to create a lot of fast responsive drawing and can be tailored to special interests in landscape/architecture/history. Materials provided are notebook to keep, with watercolours, inky ones and pencils for use during the walk. Walks on Wednesday or Saturday at 2pm. Can be organised for groups in Cork city or close to Kinsale.

Admire the views of Kinsale Harbour. In the opposite direction you can take a day trip and cycle south towards the Old Head of Kinsale and get great views of the Atlantic Coast. You will probably need to bring a picnic lunch or return via the charming village of Ballinspittle where you will find venues serving food.

Guided walk along the coast of Kinsale near Cork. A local expert will tell of the history and lush nature of the area. The guided walk goes along the coast to the beautifully restored star-shaped fortress of Charlesfort built in 1680. Takes place at 2pm Monday to Friday. Time: 3 hours. Distance: 7km. Ascent 100m.

Spend a day’s Deep Sea Angling with an experienced skipper to guide you off the Old Head of Kinsale. The boat has all modern comforts and can take 2-12 people for a day’s fishing. Tack and rods for fishing can be rented at the pier before departure. Group rate for 6+ people.

- Spend a day on the water in Kinsale, West Cork or one of the islands off the coast.
- Learn to River Raft on the Bandon River, make chocolate, do a cookery class or demonstration.

Paddleboarding is a fun sport for all the family and is available in Kinsale. Why not book a 2-hour lesson with an expert instructor who provides all the equipment (boards, paddles, wetsuits. Bring your own footwear.).

Kinsale is a great base for Watersports – go Sea Kayaking or Coasteering in Kinsale. This is the best way to see the beautiful safe harbour of Kinsale or for the more adventurous take a trip around the Old Head of Kinsale. For each of these activities you will need to be able to swim as well! Group rate available for 5 or more people.
