Kinsale Old Head Coastal Tour Guided 1/2 Day
Meet at the stunning Old Head of Kinsale where your guide will provide a mountain bike and safety equipment. Then follow the coast in a loop cycle.

Guided walk along the coast of Kinsale near Cork. A local expert will tell of the history and lush nature of the area. The guided walk goes along the coast to the beautifully restored star-shaped fortress of Charlesfort built in 1680. Takes place at 2pm Monday to Friday. Time: 3 hours. Distance: 7km. Ascent 100m.

Old Head Kinsale Wildlife Tour
See the Old Head of Kinsale from the sea with its abundant birds nesting in cliffs. The comfortable boat departs at 10am and 2pm close to Kinsale and Clonakilty daily. Minke whale feature from March to November while seasonal possibilities include fin whales, basking sharks, dolphin. Weather dependent.

West Cork
Take a guided walk at Castlefreke near Clonakilty or Lough Hyne on a Tuesday am and pm or by arrangement. Only experienced walkers could do both walks in 1 day.The Castlefreke walk start and ends at the beach. Hear the history of the area, why the castle is in ruin, the stories of the area and enjoy the view. Walk of about 3 hours and 11km long. Minimum number required, takes place Tuesday 10am (July & August)

The Lough Hyne, near Skibbereen overlooks the nature reserve lake and has an unique eco system. The walk is a loop walk of about 7km and 2.5 hours, with hills is more strenuous walk. Minimum group number for each walk and takes place on Tuesday 3pm (July & Aug).

Timoleague is situated just 30 miles from Cork City on the Kinsale to Clonakilty coast road (the R600). Perched at the edge of a long sea inlet this friendly tourist village is dominated by the ruins of a 13th century abbey. On this photography excursion the participants will take beautiful photographs of the illuminated Timoleague Abbey and of the glimmering lights of Courtmacsherry across the bay.Day Wednesday evening or by arrangement about 8pm. Lough Hyne, West Cork is a marine nature reserve and saltwater tidal lake which was formed in the last ice age. The lough has nutrient rich water flood at high tide with a wide variety of marine life and diversity. There are rapids, lovely cliff faces, and a wide variety of marine life including scallops starfish and urchins. The Guide provides the semi-dry suit (in various sizes), boots, masks, fins, snorkel and buoyancy aid.
Hire a bicycle in West Cork at Bantry, Glengariff or Castletownbere and take a few days to cycle around the beautiful Ring of Beara or Sheeps Head. Take the bicycle on the ferry to Bere Island or Sheep’s Head. Start your trip in one town and finish in another. Ask us about public bus to and from your destinations. Hire a bicycle, helmet and lock for the whole day.

Lough Hyne is a unique sea water lake which became Ireland’s first marine nature reserve in 1981. Kayak on the lake or in sea at Union Hall for a fun eco friendly experience
Family Fun on Water Union Hall – Kayak splash session for a novice or Family in the Lough 10.30am or 2pm daily.
Sea Kayak for Experienced Adults – take the Sea Kayaks on Lough Hyne or Union Hall. Travel along Coast to see the sea caves. Kayakers need to be experienced or intermediate level Kayakers over 16 years of age. Trips to Sherrington and around Carberys Hundred Isles can be arranged for groups 5+ only.Fitness level 2 Price €75 (min 2).
Night Kayak on Lough Hyne or Union Hall – 8:45- 11pm. Feel, see and hear the magical beauty of sea at night. In the dark the Lough lights up with phosphorescence, a magical night from 8.30 – 11pm ( or after sunset, times change depending on time of year). This natural phenomenon occurs from July to early October each year. Fitness Level 2 Price €69 (min 2).
Sea Safari in West Cork – Take a Sea Safari in a Ribcraft boat, with its speed making it a fun experience and its shallow draft allowing it come in close to the coastline. Trips are weather dependent, but it is an exhilarating experience where you may see dolphins and porpoise, seal colonies, sea birds as well as basking sharks and whales in season. trips last 2.5 hours at 10.30am and 2pm daily. There is a maximum 12 per boat.

Evening Adventure Trip of 45 Minutes takes place in summer months. This trip around the historic Sherkin Island or along Roaring Water Bay passing Heir Island and the lovingly restored Kilcoe Castle. Fitness Level 2 Departs 6.30pm. Price €25.
Kerry
Rowing Trip in Traditional Boat, Dingle
Feel like an islander off the coast of Ireland by rowing the traditional black boat of the west of Ireland. The Naomóg is made from wood and canvas and requires skill to move it across the water of Dingle bay. Find out the history of these boats and learn how to row a naomhóg in Dingle harbour.

Meet the guide at 11 am in Killarney and take a walk to the National Park, learning of the history, nature and culture of the area. See the 15th century copper mines and Ross Castle where you board a boat for the short trip across Lough Leane to Innisfallen Island. The guide will tell of the history of the island which has wild deer and the ruins of a monastery. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beauty of Killarney National Park from the lake.

Boat trip around Skellig
Enjoy a powerboat trip with an expert local skipper. Admire the views of the dramatic Skellig Rock, made famous by the Star Wars The Force Awakens film, as it rises sheer from the Atlantic. This boat has toilet, great speed for your comfort and the local expert. Great demand for trips due to Star War’s films, we do not land on Skellig as unpredictable seas and more chance of cancellation though this trip is weather dependent. Minimum group required and must be booked 5 or more days in advance.

Gap of Dunloe, Killarney Cycling trip
Collect your bike in morning from the centre of Killarney and cycle to Ross Castle beside beautiful Lough Leane. Enjoy a boat trip across the lake and cycle through the dramatic Gap of Dunloe and county lanes back to Killarney. Choose to bring a picnic or have lunch in Lord Brandon’s cottage or stop at Kate Kearney’s cottage. This is a distance of about 15 km. To enjoy the dramatic scenery allow a full day for this trip.

Fishing on Lakes of Killarney in a boat with an experienced local guide take you. The expert guide will provide the rods, reels and flies, you need to bring suitable footwear, rainwear and warm clothing as well as food. Price is €250 ( 2 people max). Guide and boat.
