At the start of the Wild Atlantic Way in Kinsale take a 2 hour walk with an artist to learn to draw what you see as you go along the way. Enjoy the views of this stunning town with stops to draw what you see.The idea is to create a lot of fast responsive drawing and can be tailored to special interests in landscape/architecture/history. Materials provided are notebook to keep, with watercolours, inky ones and pencils for use during the walk. Walks on Wednesday or Saturday at 2pm. Can be organised for groups in Cork city or close to Kinsale.

In Clonakilty, West Cork make your own silver jewellery using a variety of techniques to remember the Wild Atlantic Way. You may want to make a ring, bracelet, earrings, brooch or pendant under the guidance of a Master Silversmith in a studio in Clonakilty. Gems and silver is provided and paid for at the end of the 3-hour beginners class. Jewellery making courses from 10am on Thursday mornings . Full day course for 5 or more can be arranged.

Felt Making Half Day Course – This workshop is for the complete beginner or for those who have had a go. You will sample different fibres, colours and techniques. 10am to 1pm. Thursday.

Spend time with an experienced stone carver who is highly skilled in the traditional mallet and chisel methods which have been relied on by stone-cutters for centuries. Stone-carving courses are held throughout the year, and they are tailored to the skills and needs of the people who sign up to attend.
Courses are held over weekends in West Cork on demand. During a 2 day weekend course in Stone Carving which is aimed at beginners who would like to develop stone-carving skills for use on a range or projects. You will be introduced to the use of stone moulds, the use and care of key tools, as well as to some of the key techniques which form the foundation for a stonemason’s craft. We can advise on accommodation in the area.
